Amerigon offers a complete test laboratory capable of offering the latest in high tech test equipment. In-house testing of full customer Design Validation and Production Validation testing is carried out on a routine basis. Also, vehicle simulation chambers are used throughout the design cycle to ensure each product meets the performance goals set by the design team. Specialty equipment is also used to ensure the item has adequate life cycle capability. This equipment, unique to each and every product, is custom built and used during testing to ensure cycle to failure and usable service life are fully understood.
Tests are conducted in accordance with most major OEM standards on the market today, as well as with other industry specifications. Rigorous tests are completed to ensure performance, durability and reliability of all components. Also, our test equipment is used by our engineers to further advance the design and technology during all phases of development. It is the constant challenging of the designs to tests like thermal shock, high temperature endurance, life cycle, salt spray, constant and cyclic humidity and many others that ensure Amerigon's products are well-proven prior to market.
